The Story

This is my favorite painting. I captured my cousin’s personality. She was 15 at the time, so beautiful and a bit shy (you can tell by the way her arms are timidly crossed over her body). It’s my goal to not only make a realistic representation of the person I’m painting, but also to capture their essence and temperament by using color, texture and line.
